Dennis, thanks for the response. The gear ratio is stock 1.5:1. I'm swinging a 23" Mirage Plus on a 23' 2000 SeaRay 230 bowrider. I took the boat out this weekend to leeward side of Catalina Island, CA since having the work done. I max'd out at 59mph (GPS) at 4700rpm with about 46 gallons of gas and another 300lbs in people/gear. The ECM was recalibrated to 5400 WOT so I need to go out and make some more runs before having the prop lab finished. I have a 24" Bravo I demo prop to also try out, but think the 23" Mirage Plus is probably about right with correct trim and load. I'm looking for top-end speed as the boat's great in low end and mid-range. Comments or suggestions welcomed.

It's somewhat of a "sleeper." It seems to "sneak" up on people and it really turns some heads when I when I hit the Captain's Call.
Selecting the correct propeller has me perplexed though:
Mirage Plus vs. Bravo I?
23" Mirage Plus or 21" Mirage Plus?
I've been told that I'll get best top-end with the Mirage Plus, but that the Bravo I might give me better stern lift and good results (although I'm not sure how that would help with top-end speed).
If I stick with my either my 23" or 21" Mirage Plus props, I guess it will be a function of which one I can push to 5300rpm...
