Default sea water pump leak

I thought I share this with you and see if anyone else had the same problem. I have had a little drip from almost day one from one of my sea water pumps. I tighted the hose clamp and it went away. Then I could not tighted the clamp anymore and it still leaked and was getting worse. Especially a wot. I finally took the pump off and found the mfg left the flashing on from the casting. Thus the od of the hose connection (discharge) was not smooth and round. It made a nice crease in the id of the tube allowing the water to leak. I solved the problem with a little die grinder.

Just an FYI
