--> VERY COOL!! Another 22 with an HP500! Don't ya love the 'rumpity-rumpity' idle! And the Blue does look cool in there!!
Most of the dyno reports that I have seen put the HP500 in the 530hp range. That means ~500hp at the prop!

Well, if you believe others on here with 6% slip, you should be at around 90!! With a 7% slip, you are at 89! This is with your 29p prop at 5250. Do YOU believe this?
With a more moderate 13% slip, you are at 84 here!! Much more believable.

With the 27p, you should be at 83 with a 7%, and 84 with a 6% slip, and 77 with a 13% slip (Where I am now, with my little Donzi).

Sadly, without a GPS unit, noone knows for sure. Please check into sales at your nearest Best Buy or Fryes for a low cost GPS that remembers the highest speed. They are cheap! I bought my Garmin eTrex cheap!

502SCS, you have an AWESOME boat! I personally LOVE the color! In my previous posts, it may have sounded like I doubted you. I do NOT! Your numbers are believable, although amazing!

It's a few of the other numbers posted on this thread that are questionable. You cannot physically go negative on slip..

Take care,
Kent

I know how you could go even faster... Buy my 28p 4 blade Spinelli... It came off of an Eliminator 22 Eagle xp with a single step, 502 mag mpi... Best I ever saw was 78 mph gps confirmed @ 5000 rpm's... I spun this 28 Spinelli as fast as I spun the Bravo 26p that came with the boat... I paid $850 brand new in 1999 and it's still in mint condition like the day I bought it, guaranteed! Make me an offer today, as I am in need of two new props myself and need to clear out the garage...

uh um, any interest in the Spinelli? I don't know if you've heard of Spinelli or not, but this prop is top notch and hand built. Ask anyone who knows props... I might let you try it out. Like I said before, I paid $850 for this prop. While you are getting educated, look into Spinelli and see what you find...

Thanks for the info .. That could save me a step in looking for the correct prop for my boat. I was looking at a 28P . So I guess I need to look at a 27P Mirage Plus or a 26P bravo 1.
Thanks for the help
