i need three washers for each bolt of the cylinder head to torque them....
heads are lower , this arp kit came from states is for same application,no misorder or no part number mix-up... i dont know the exact reason but its like that...

-my heads can be early version; is the most reasonable idea i heard until now.it is possible.they can be.

would you install 3 washers to each bolt on cylinder heads?

I'd order a different part number. Call ARP and they can help you find a set that fits better, or makw you a special set.

i have all (yes all) arp bolt models and some studs for short deck BB-chevy.none fits.

Are they all the bolts or just the outside ones. ARP makes a kit special for the merlin heads

they are all different kits like this;
by somehow i have ALL the kits that arp produces for BB-chevy and different head combinations...

you see the note on the box; 'for merlin heads' ,and part number shows the same but they dont fit;

things are out of control about this bolt situation...

last chance ; i can build them here but material is problem...

now on thursday they have send me another package with fedex after receiving exact measures of required bolts , i will see next week.....

Are the threads long enought to allow you to just take a cut off saw to the bolts? MK4, so thru holes?

Also, depending on which exhaust manifolds you use, the extra washers may not allow the exhaust to mount tight. At least it is this way with the Merc/Gil systems.

-dont have any problem with exhaust,they are very high..

to cut the bolts :then too little turns will hold the head.
to make more turns on the bolt : not possible cause its getting smaller diameter after the turns.
to make more turns in the block: may be but this is the last thing to do.

I like your terms. Is that the terminalogy in your homeland? I work in a machine shop in a university with alot of foreign students. This reminds me of a student that wanted me to 'dig' some holes for him in some steel. We use the term 'drill'. It keeps things interesting.

BTW,
You don't want to chase more threads on an existing bolt. More than likely, they are rolled on. Best bet is to wait for the replacements. Good Luck
