Default Will it be too fast ???

I would like some input on a project before it goes too far... I own a Baja 280 sportfisherman 1998 W/ 200 mercs. on a 30" bracket , the question I have is this , I have the opportunity to get two 300 v-8s that have been balanced and built by an outboard guru to about 340 horses each and am wondering if the baja will be able to handle the H.P. without ill effects ? And secondly , is the sportfish hull the same animal as the outlaw ? Thanks in advance Mike Fosse

The Evinrude/Johnson V8's are MONSTERS !! I'm sure the boat can handle it, but you're not going to have fun keeping all those carbs in tune.
