Default Alternatives to Corsa Q&Q"s?

Looking for some cheaper yet effective alternatives to the Corsa Quick & Quiets. My past experience with them was not good meaning they were constantly tripping the breaker.

I'm thinking there might be some cool external mounted "switchables" out there somewhere, or lesser expensive similarly configured split pipe setup using the horse-shoe pipe diversion thru the drive. What would be some good economical alternatives fella's?...Provide websites if you have them handy too...

Otherwise how about anything similar to Corsa's yet cheaper for twins?

Rick, what I did was go with the Teague 450's
Cost was higher then thier posted prices due to have tehm custom made for the angles on my Cats transom.
I kept the stock silent choice diverters and y pipe in place mostly for not having the resource to pull the motors. But also for sound reduction. While researching mufflers I noticed Corsa and Cmi both using hte cross over pipe setup to help reduce back pressures nad sounds.
With the Teagues even open I am over 13db lower then stock.
Closed you can actually carry on a conversation with no trouble and actually her the stereo under half crank
They are not a clamp on, but thru mounted tips.
I know several others on here have them and have not heard one bad thing about them.
Btw, this is on stock Merc 502's

Thanks bro. I'll check them out. They can be as loud as they wanna be when open, I just got to have a little conversation ability when the wife is onboard with the girls thru no-wakes and those slow troll summer cocktail cruises at night. Do you know of any others that are similarly configured like those, or are they the only ones? Thru mounted is actually even better as well...

there are several.
I went with the Teagues because they were electronically controlled with a soleniod, not air operated.
I did not want to have to worry about air pumps and hoses.
Hpi, new product advertising here has something
Gaffrig has the Powertip Silencers, higher price not to mention I do not like the looks of the actuator on the outside of the boat.
Teagues look just like regualr tips, cleaner install also.
IMCO has the Mega mufflers along with a few other models, nice units but the Megas are HUGE in size
they would be good for under the swim deck on some boats as they have clamp on styles also.
There are just so many brands and styles

I have seen them advertised from 900 to 995
Includes everything except the switch and wires.
You get the tips, beauty rings, soleniod and instructionis of course.
Mine were a little more due to the custom angles they had to make them.
Here is a link to what they look like on my boat.

Excellent! Thanks man. I think I'm sold on the Teagues. By the way they look in your pics they are exactly what I'm looking for. The boat will already have the Y-pipe installed so I could do this on the side. I'll of course be looking for a good set of used ones while awaiting delivery to cut the cost even more than the factory installed pricing....Thanks again.

You coming to Miami? If so we'll hook up...
