Default Bravo Question

If a B1 is listed as "High Perfomance" does that mean it is a XR drive?

The only other info. I have is a part number OL747965 and it is a 2000 model year .

The drive has no other markings.

Thanks!

XR's usually are labeled so on the
rear of the upper unit.

Externally looking at them,
XR's and XZ's have a larger diameter
prop shaft than the X ( or pre "X "rated
drives)

Back in 98', Mercruiser came out
with the low water pick up lower unit.

They labeled drives with the low water
pick up lowers as "High Performance".

My guess, this is what you have.

Thanks for the input, I thought it might be marked as high performance because of the low water pick up. Was hoping it had the larger shaft and gears...........
