Default Bazooka Tubes

Is anyone using the marine self amplified units? Thinking about mounting two 10" 150w units on the first bulkhead under the deck of my 25 Daytona.

the self-amplified bazooka tubes leave a lot to be desired. i would use bazooka tubes, but with a separate amp. place them so they fire into a solid surface, they sound better.

I agree with BlownBaja....buy the regular tubes then buy your own amp. You'll have more power. I like the Bazooka's, they sound real good and don't take up a lot of space.

I use the non-powered with separate amp. I like the non-powered dual voice coil model. If you can mount it a few feet from a solid surface like a bulkhead, it will work the best. I bought an amp with good low pass adjustments, so I had more control over what freqs were going to the bazooka and it works really good.

It's really effecient too, so you don't need gobs of power.
