Mercury Prop WARNING!!
Mercury has issued a service bulletin regarding failures (throwing blades) on ALL Mercury props!!. Warranty period is one year only.
Even a drawing was issued as to where to look for surface blemishes or cracks (at the blade root).... Seems now Merc is in the same boat as Hydromotives throwing blades. |
Damn! I just bought two new Bravo 4 blade's
|
Yep, just got the bulletin today from Merc. Thanks Merc.

Being a servicing center for propellers we have heard our share of client experiences. But you have to remember that some blade failures are due to improper finishing after they have left the manufacturers.

Bravo's don't like high X dimensions either...labbed or not.

Threw a blade on a labbed 30 this fall. Mercury Racing replaced it without question.

They live....for a while...;)

I have to face it.
I'm going to spend the summer throwing Bravoblades  |
