Default Flame Arrestor Filters- COOL!!

Neat Product- I saw these on a friends boat.

OUTERWEARS pre-filters

filters down to .005", comes in four colors and is water repellant!!

The fix for that ugly flame arrestor.

I wouldn't run them on a HP motor. They look like an unnecessary restriction to me.

I ran them on my turbo dune buggie for years but I think its overkill on a boat...

I think I said- "Fix for an ugly flame arrestor"

You can see thru these things so well I think you could read a newspaper thru them, BUT- they do add a bit of color to a drab engine bay. Also, if you had scoops- you could run in the rain (if needed) without injesting water into your blower, as they shed water.
They looked pretty good in my friends American Offshore with a blown 540 Merlin in it.

I'll stick with Krylon for a bit of color.
