causin trouble

I would like to install hydramotive nose cones on my Bravo drives.Question I have is that the lower units have both lower and side water pickups..hydramotive tells me it is ok to cover the lower water pick ups and put set screws on the upper ones for water pressure..



then why do they have nose cones with lower water pick ups in them...is it necessary to have these holes?

I am runnung a 2001 353 fastech formula.

also if I use lower water pick up nose cones is there more ro install than gluing orwelding them on?

You running over 80 mph?? Do you expect to with your current engines?? If not; forget the nosecones!! The competition guys run into the low 90's and would not think of messing with a well designed gearcase. Check out the real players at the races. They are either running late STOCK Bravo's or Imco shorties.
