I have a 25 Sunsation which is very similar in length and width to yours. It does have a small pad. I experience the same "lean" you describe when at cruise. It is very easily corrected with some tab (bennets).

If it's squirly with a lefty, then don't run it. They put the helm on the right to help counter the prop torque, so I can see how the boat would be unballanced with a lefty.

I have 26 corsa with 496HO and mine does the same thing I am spinning a 28 bravo. It lists to the port side when taking off with the drive trimmed down. When I get on plane and trim the drive up it levels out. I have some cheap bennett tabs on it and it if i feel like using them I can keep the boat from doing it. I Know the feeling though my wife hates it she thinks the boat is going to flip over and all my reassurance doesn't help any. If you have 2 batteries you might try putting them both on the starboard side in the back. This will help some other wise the trim tab thing should work but for me its a pain in the ass to take off with the port tab all the way down. If you don't get it up at the right time the boat will list to starboard side even worse. I think If I had some better tabs it would be easier. I have just come to live with it.
