Question 525SC "TRS, SSM"

When dealing with the transmission of a 525SC what do the letters "TRS" and "SSM" mean?

Default Re: 525SC "TRS, SSM"

As stated earlier here; The "TR" of the "TRS" means it's a drive that uses a separate transmission between drive and engine. The "S" stands for "Sport", the performance oriented unit as opposed to the heavy work unit. "SSM" is for Super SpeedMaster. That was meant to be the REAL hi-perf lower and a version was made to fit the TRS upper case. --- jp
