No chit? I have the fuel pump on the seawater pump....does that accessory hole go through to the oil galley in my gen 5 block?????

yes, I believe that hole goes all the way through on your motor, but It wouldn't leak that much, nor would the frt seal(sorry I didn't read that 1qt.=30sec. earlier) and the oil plug would have leaked from day 1. If nothin else We have oil additive that glows very well under blacklight here. Sray off the oil with brakeclean add it to the oil, fire it for a couple sec. then get in there with a blacklight. I'd gladly fed ex you a bottle of the stuff.

I'm familiar with the die I had an issue last year with a rear main that leaked and went that route....it never showed up till I pulled the seal, it had a tear right at 12:00 never showed up til the boat was bow high!!!!!

Dyno, is your oil cooler on the side of the engine or behind it? It could be an oil line going bad and the location could be at the front.

Unless it falls out, a galley plug can't go bad, but a hose can go bad any time.

Dyno, I just remembered you said this was gen 5 motor. Did you use a mark 4 timing cover? The bolt pattern is the same but the sealing surface is different. The gen 5 has a large u shaped gasket suface where the mark 4 is flat.

Ian I'm not sure it was a cover that I had laying around...what about crankcase ventilation? I put push in breathers in place of the hose to the spark arresters that the 420's come with....
