Question mercury mech trim indicators

i've just installed new trim indicators they work great. except when the drives are in the panel indicates 9 which is suppose to out when trimed out it moves to a lower # what did i do wrong the cabels can only be mounted from the bottom due to the restriction on the dash!

The #6 panel is opposite the rest, you will need a new lens. If it is a bottom entry panel, 9 should be at the bottom for all drives except a 6. At least this is true if using the conventional style actuators.

thank you i didnt realize you could chang the lens.do you know the part # its four position 2 drive 2 tabs
