Removing exhuast grime from the transom
I must be running a little rich - have exhaust soot on and under the swim platform that will not come off with simple green and a light scrub brush. Does anyone have a good solution?

Go to Home Depot and buy a spray bottle of Zep 505. I just did my whole transom with paper towels while it was on the trailer. I was impressed! It cleans the soot instantly and it wipes off to to nice shine. No streaks. Works good on the drive, too.

I always say to spray on "Fantastik" and leave it on for 3-5 minutes and then soap and water and a sponge. It's the easiest way everyone tells me!

Maybe if you guys would wash and wax your boat more than once a year it would come off with the whipe of a finger like mine, i dont know maybe baja has good gel coat but all i do is take a damp towl and whipe it right off.
