TRS mechanic may have made BIG Mistake--can anyone help?

WOW !!! I would definetly NOT take my boat back to these guys at that Marina!! Holy crap
Well, everyone has hit this one on the head as usual. Rotation on a TRS is in the lower,"there will be a L or an R stamped in the end of the propshaft.", velvet drives are not gear driven, all TRS uppers are the same and there will most likely be transmission trouble shortly. Especially in a big heavy boat with big blocks and 4 blades. Sorry to hear about that!
Keep us up on how your season goes and like someone else said,"GET IT IN WRITING !"

The boat ran flawlessly until I sold it in December 2005. Replaced it with a Century 26' Center Console.
I fell apart before the trannies did.
They did pick up a whine in reverse but otherwise no ill effects from the mechanic screwup. I watched the fluid, shifts, filters and overall performance. I got lucky--and so did marina owner.
