Default What t-bolt module do I have

I bought it from a member here and wrote it down but can't find my paper.

Here is the #
6D04A V6-14
I read this part # with a mirror on back of the the starbord cylinder head so I'm not sure those numbers are 100% correct.
I have 24*@ 800rpm, 30* @1000, and 32* @ 3000, and that's assuming my 1989 VDO OE Checkmate tach is correct.

Does anyone know the advance curve of this module?

It is a 14deg advance that is what the 14 stands for. If you have 24 deg initial then you are at 38 full advance. Sounds a little high unless you got good fuel and aluminum heads.

Around 3000rpm

With a timing light, raise the rpm until the timing mark no longer advances. That is the more prefered timing procedure than at idle as most are accustomed to.
Theoritically, initial timing at idle + the built in advance of the module= full advance timing.

if you have it on a v8 it's only 6-10 adv from initial. When in water, check your total advance. Some adv all the way up to 4500rpm.

I've been running the V-6 modules for a few years. They will advance 14 degrees only when installed on a 6 cyl. When installed on an 8 cyl they will only give you 8-10 degrees.

I have them on my blower motors. all the advance is out by 3000.

28* @ 900, 32@ 1500, 32@ 2000, 32* @ 2500, and 32* @ 3000. I'm not gonna rev the motor past 3k to check the timing. It should be there as far as I'm concerned.

I have suspected my tach being off with my previous motor, but being a well experienced auto mechanic and judging by ear, I am pretty confidant the tach is somewhat close. Like + or - 500 rpms.

24 at 800? The module is not advancing at 800 so your base must be close to 24 and your total advance around 8 as Biggus says. It may advance more above 3000 indicated. Better check. You could also look at a Crane HI 6M.
