I should start out by saying that my membership to this site is my best investment in a long time. Living in Nebraska I am also a Snowmobile Guru. Summer= Powerboating Winter= Snowmobiling.

I have this 1999 Wellcraft Excalibur 23' with a 502 mag efi. Still not sure if I should list it as a mag, simply because no one else does. Help?
Anyway, I have found out that the engine is running like new, but I am still not sure of what prop to buy. I must be watching 18 of them on ebay, but I am still frustraded with the guessing game. Is there someone that can calculate the figures on my boat and know exactly, or do I just keep guessing? I statred with a 23 pitch 3 plade that came with the boat and got 63mph. Went to a 25 pitch Yamaha outboard and got 64. Went nuts and tried a 21 mirage and got 66 (not to mention an old beat up prop). Now I am really confused!
Please give me some advice!!!
