Default 500HP carb clone

Can someone tell me specifically what is in the 500HP carb motor?

I would like to build a similar engine.

Carb, Intake, Heads, Cam, Pistons, rods, crank?

I have a 454 Mag, would the heads or crank be the same as the 500hp?

Thanks Guys,

Klaw, I'm not necessarily building a 454. I just wanted to know if the crank and heads were the same. I think I want to build a 502. My 454 block is 7 years old and was run in salt a lot.

If your 454 crank is a Gen V or VI, it is the same casting as the 502 but is balanced differently for the 502's larger pistons.
Your machinist can balance your old 454 rotating assembly for the 502.

Dave,

This is Ty with the 25 Aggressor. We met at Fairview Beach last year. I have a complete and balanced 502 rotating assembly. Let me know if you are interested. It is down in Richmond at the engine builder.
