N/A...reliable.. yes... mine is..
solid roller 383 home built. around 570 hp. spins 6000 rpm all day long. all parts were brand new. holley, edelbrock, AFR, JE, eagle, crane, ferrea, cometic. guess i had around $6000-$7000 into it. I lost count
but it does run on 110 octane
no problems this year.
Last year ran a 500+ hp 383 very reliable, ran great, all season. no problems.
boat is for sale.. hint

The 400 in. Chevy block has siamesed cylinders.
What it means is that there are no water passages between the cylinder bores. Water gets trapped in pockets and turns to steam. Holes drilled in these critical areas allow the trapped water to flow from the block into the head.
