Amsoil makes an all metal polish. It works great. Its at least 5 times easier to use than any other product I've tried including never dul and mothers.

I would suggest forgetting about polishing the diamond plate. If it isn't too big... take it to a place that specializes in Bright anodization. They can electro polish it and then clear anodize it. It will look polished and will not need more attention later. It isn't cheap, but, it's a one time deal. All of the alloy grills on expensive foreign cars are polished and then anodized.

I've polished the aluminum diamondplate running boards on my dually twice and I am looking for an easy way. I used little buffers, but getting right up to the treads is darn near impossible.
Has anyone used this flitz ball? I've seen it at shows ,but you know those salesmen will promise you anything to make the sale.

Has anybody tried these on aluminum diamondplate ?
