Default ITS drive Question

Have ITS with XR Drives. They have an 18 inch tie bar that utilize the cap as the upper support. I want to put on a billet cap from Max Machine which does not have the uper tie bar support in the cap.

Any suggestions for rigging the tie bar?

Are you using the other Max components? If not, the ITS top cap is already better than standard Bravo top caps because it uses a steel bearing support instead of the cast aluminum support. The Max stuff does look top notch. Since their cover is billet, I'll bet they could easily machine a version for the ITS, maybe they already have one or may have on in the "worx".

I heard this too but think it might be part of the drive shower set up. I need clarification.

If you really want the Worx top and can't get a version modified for the ITS, you could get the tiebar mounted using a wing plate arrangement off of the drive mounting studs. I think Latham or others may offer something because they sometimes have to offer a higher mounting for the tiebar on cats.

That's a good point! With a vee and staggered to boot, all you really need is to do the trim pin saddle type of tiebar. Get a couple of standard back covers for the uppers and you should be all set.
