I have decided to go the Bravo route on my Formula project. Is there anyone interested in trading gimbal assemblies? My used TRS for a used Bravo assembly...the TRS was purchased form a member here. He stated about 20 hours before it was removed from his boat(poss Scarab, but I cant remember). It looks new and is stored indoors. It has the rams and inner plate.

thayes11- I believe you can buy the TRS book from mercruiserparts.com (Bam Marine) new for about $50

I have a couple of offers for it already, i was just hoping to do a swap and not worry about it. I will give it a few weeks then sell it.

not my style however

I have seen a lot of Mercruiser stuff go on eBay for more than the retail price. I saw the alignment tool, old style, aftermarket, that retails for $65 go for $99, + shipping. Talk about dumb-a$$ people.
But I did buy 4 cartons of Mercruiser manuals, including 2 copies TRS, a #6 manual, and high performance manual for big blocks, and a whole lot of others, for $75 a couple years ago.

If they go for much more get a good deal on a bravo trade me then sell the TRS...
