Anyone have any bad experiences with this hitch? I'll be using it on a 12,000 lb boat plus trailer weight. (Triax) The load weight exceeds the hithc recommendations slightly.

DON'T do it. When you have an accident; insurance will dismantle every possible weak link (no pun intended) to deny your claim. Its not worth it.
