Waiting on a head gasket to come in. It's .030 so it had to be ordered.
Should have come in on friday.
But the short block is together... crank, cam, pistons & rods, timing chain, etc.
The heads should be on by monday/tuesday and painted right after that.
I'll go back to the shop mid week.

Jonh, hows the repower coming along?

Hey Storm,
Is that a stock GM 454/502HO intake I see?
I've been trying to off load one for $50.
Anyone want it?

Its bonze lined and completely ported by Rich Zul.

OK, brass lined and ported, but basically the same intake...
I guess that GM stuff is not half bad... :drink:

In Dennis Moore's book, he states the chevy intake is the best design, and all aftermarkets copy it.
But we will try out different intakes and carbs when its on the dyno.
