Default Installing silent choice exhaust.

Since I boat primarilly at Havasu, I thinking of adding mufflers or silent choice. What is involved in adding silent choice to a Bravo 1? Do I have to pull the drive or motor out? Will it work with headers? The mufflers seem pretty easy to install but I know for sure that I would pass inspection with silent choice, I dont want to waste time on something that may or may not work.

Motor has to come out to install the y-pipe for the silent choice. Thereofore so does the drive.

Yes, will work with headers. The 500's with CMI's can be had with silent choice, along with other brand. Just need the right tailppipe.

Forget pulling the motor and drive out, too close to summer to start a project like that. Summer starts in month in Arizona. May have to look for mufflers or some alternative.

All heck, that's only 6 hr job.
OR, move to here in IN. We still got 2 months before time to hit the water. We like plenty of winter time to work on our boats.

I'd try the muffler route before I'd pull engines and drives in addition to going thru all the grief with the Silent Choice system. Mufflers look as good as exhaust tips and can make the exhaust sound meet most reasonable limits.
