Get ahold of Gordo. He knows all about these. He has installed them on a friends boat.

I put a set on last spring. Substantial improvement in midrange, little if any gain at WOT. in. 224 ex. 234, LSA is 110 {ZZ502/502} and no known or signs of reversion. As far as an after market manifold/riser set up they're probably as good as the rest. Good deal for the $.

I too have purchased a set of the revolution Marine exhaust. I am very happy with them. I had the "old Mercruiser" on one engine and osco's on the other. These are definately an improvement. The weight of the aluminum ones are sooo much nicer. I have stock 365 magnum cams. I do not know the spec's. The performance increase is most notable in the mid range. The folks at revolution are very helpful. Their guaruntee / customer service was excellent from my experience.

Fred, there was a Hot Boat article a few years ago comparing a bunch of different exhausts systems. But, I don't think the REMs were out yet.

Stainless Marine has some of the nicest stuff out there. I just bought 2 sets from Trick and couldn't be happier. They weigh half as much as my old Gils, are a better design, come with a 5 year warranty, and have a place to put zincs.

Thanks for the replies, I guess there is no substitute for real exhaust. Stainless seems like the way to go.

Ive seen a set of polished Rev Marine manifolds ....real nice piece.......do a search ....Im sure some guys were saying they got some good gains from them......word of caution.....make sure when your pricing you price with all reqd brackets, adapters, bolts etc......it can really make a difference
