353 formula wippled arneon's

I assume you are talking about putting Whipple superchargers on your 500EFI's and Replacing the Bravos with the Arneson ASD6 Bravo replacement setup (with the tranny in the box)?
Whipple on a 500efi will net you close to 700hp on pump gas.
That alone should take you from 81-82 to around 92.
Arnesons should give you 3 or 4 more.
If set up properly, you'll be knockin on 100mph, but I don't think it will quite get you there without a little more.
Stroke em to 540 when you do the Whipple for another 3 mph.
Add good heads and a matched cam and you're over 100 in a Formula on pump gas.
Whipples: $10,000
ASD6 kits: $35,000
Heads, cams, and injectors: $10,000
Less if you do it yourself...

i doubt you will break the arnesons (rik may be biased but he is right..
) and just make sure the motors are assembled right w/ the sc's and those should last a good long time too...

rik,not to hi-jack this thread, but when replacing bravo ones with arneson's what happens to the center of gravity? with the tranny in the box and the length of the drive i was curious....
