I'll kill the bank for HP. That's my business dude. I am working on a 20 Cigarette w/ a 800 HP turbine for myself!!!!! I have a customer getting started and I am trying to get another 50-100 out of the 496 for him for under 5K. Just curious if anyone has any secrets.

Nitrous would work, not a good idea but it would work. Some people have done it but usually with bad results. In order to take advantage of the nitrous you would have to over prop for normal running and you rpms would be to low for wide open (no nitrous) operation.

I would not do it on my boat but It would be fun to see it on yours!

Ray,

What does the bck 103 go for on a 496 HO and what does it do to the warranty?

Good question how much is that Raylar kit? Can the Raylar heads be ported for more power? If so how much. Is there a 4 barrel manifold for the 496? What is the final compression with the raylar heads? Greg

Raylar has gone over all this countless times in previous threads... The heads are designed for maximum flow and dependability and don't need any extra work.

whipple is the only way to go 354 hrs compression still160/165 running 7#s boost keep it cool run good fuel any questions 4127810881
