Fred,
The pump was there when I returned from boating on Friday.. Took a good look at it today during breakfast.. LOL! What a beautiful piece..
One thing.. I tried to screw in the two 90* fittings.. it was a no go.. holes are too close togther... I have some ideas. I will give you a call on Monday..
Thanks
Dick

Yes.. shorter ones will work. I thought about cutting these, but then you loose the ridge that helps hold the hose..
I am thinking the fittings that Wette Vette has on the back of his.. If I had one of those I could screw one in and bolt the other on. They would be offset a bit but who cares.. it has enough beauty to carry, we just need the functional part...

Some good info here. I am waiting for 2 kits from Fred. My motors are out so it should be fairly painless to replace. I will try to post pics when I get them.

Ok here goes: received my 2 kits yesterday and I’m trying to install today. I can’t figure out how to mount the pump to the bracket. If I take the backing plate off there are holes all the way thru but you can’t put bolt thru.
My question is, looking at the photos from StrikinLightnin

Do I need to drill thru the backing plate?
I have marked with arrows.
It just seems that I should not have to modify the pump or anything for that matter.

Well after trying to figure this out for the better part of the morning yester, I decided to drill new holes in the pump housing. I wish KPM would have a direct kit to replace the plastic housing instead of going with universal type housing. Below you can see the holes that need to be drilled. I used SS cap bolts as I could not find SS Allen head in 3 ½”
