Default Re: 500hp Engine Hours?

The hours can be pulled from a Thunderbolt five distributor by some merc dealers they need the right adapter for the DDT2000(merc scan tool) and they also need to know how to do and most don't. Thry do work on a rev count/ RPM calcutaion but they are very accurate. It's almost always the hour meter that is wrong all that thing knows it that the key is on and who here hasn't left one on some time in their life? also they can be unplugged or replaced, what it comes down to is even if there was one it doesnt meen all that much. If you find a Merc premier dealer they should be able to take care of you. just go to Mercs website and do a dealer search for your area the first one on the list will be the preimer dealer in your area and will say so next to it call em and Im sure they can handle it.
