Boy, I cant wait till Shane reads this. I hope you dont speak on behalf of Team Xtream. Because that is the biggest load of crap I ever read. And certainly, an embarresment to your team.

To think that we would come out and run blockers and not run a good clean race just goes to show your idiotic way of thinking. (must be the booze talking). Shane should be real proud to have a moron like you doing his PR.

All we are lookin for, is a good old fashion showdown. Thats all. So, think what you will. Im sure you'll delete all your posts by morning. when you sober up :drink:

BRIAN, THANK YOU. Mike, I can't believe that you wrote that (post 352)less alone believe what you wrote. That's wrong and it $ucks. Shane don't want to race that's his decision...end the Bull **** and anyone "Blocking" on a OPA course gets my foot up their A$$. You seen "WHAT" from the beginning????????????????? That's FU$KED-UP Mike. There are enough people getting hurt having fun on the water, nobody gonna go out and hurt another racer.

Hey Augie You make a good point about blocking in the race the foot up the ass. Should get alot of racers attention.

Re: SVL Point Pleasant

Blocking in boat racing is the stupidest thing I have heard in a while. Who was the master mind behind that thought? When $10,000 is offered to winner take all we are all on our own. Don't forget why we boat race. Its the love of the competition on the water and thats it period. Some pre race trash talk is always fun but when the boat hits the water its every team for themselves. I don't know of a single team in SVL that couldn't use the money. Well except, Wild Card

Hey Rad.....I dont think Augie's "foot in the A$$" comment makes us think any different.

As a Racer, I can tell you no mattter how much smack talk, as heated as it may get, goes on here. We will never, NEVER!!!!!! compromise the safety of ourselves or any other racer on the course.

I dont know who you are, but give me a break. I know Augie's comment was a figure of speech, because he knows us us and that behavior like that would never happen on the race course. Maybe in the bar or in the pits, but never on the raceourse.

Your right Typhoon- Blocking a boat in a race is the stupidest thing I've ever heard to. So is trash talking another racer to the point where it's sickning to read your's and Bruce's comments on this Forum.

Re: SVL Point Pleasant

It is time to end this post, whoever started please delete it, as amusing as it may be enough already. Shane said he will not come and I respect that for what ever the reason. The point to all this is the svl class has changed dramatically on any given day there are are at least several boats that could steal the show. The white boat beat up on boats for years that were not up to the challenge......now that has changed still a very competitive boat, but there are others. Hopefully we will all run together soon and we would have a 10 boat class with some close racing, if we would there would be a 10k purse at every race, think about it.........a one time throw down proves nothing so lets end this bs and race.

No publicity is bad publicity :evilb:
Granted 5k of the 10k hits are probably from Bruce, MM and Klaatu,
but nevertheless, It is generating an interest

This thread does not negatively affect the race or its organizers, and I doubt that anyone has decided not to attend because of it.

It does however, provide further proof of how divided our great sport is.

Guy's, my foot remark is just something that went into my head this morning. By NO MEANS does it mean anything! I KNOW for a FACT that the SVL crews are Ball Breakers in some way, shape or form "BUT" NONE OF THEM WOULD EVER DO ANYTHING TO HARM ANOTHER RACER, PERSON, or BOAT (On the race course). I know them all and I would put my life on it as I know they would back me 100% on this. NOW, WHO's RACING AND WHAT CLASS???

Come on people lets try to get 50 boats minimum.
Wild Card/Genpro will be there in SVL.
Are we still having our own race if we have 5 boats?
Lets get a true roll call going on.
Auguie, what boat are you going to be in?
Smitty,same question for you.
Larry is looking forward to big waters.

Re: SVL Point Pleasant

We started the SVL challenge as a way to settle a few different opinions on who was the fastest. All we settled is who can or cant spell, who got a letter and who did not, who owes how much on their boat, who's' sponsor pays who's' bills etc. I never saw so many excuses not to race. However out of all of this we did receive a lot of exposure, and as a result it sparked quite an interest in our race. Thanks for that. As for the rest, if you took half of that energy and used it in a positive way we would have 100 boats here. All of you talk about the betterment of our sport, yet you destroy it on a daily basis. Shame on you. We all make mistakes and sometimes say things we should not have, but this is way out of control. We have a great race planned, I hope all will enjoy. I will kill this thread in a few hours. In that time maybe a few of you will come to your senses and realize the damage you do. Smitty

Sump,
You can get those answers from The Jersey Boyz. They are the ones that are in the know of the details of what is going on.

As far as what I have planned, I do not what to get into detail as of right now.
Come race day, you will know exactly why......
Hope you can attend. Please introduce yourself if you do. ;)

Re: SVL Point Pleasant

It was a good race. 20 boats seems to be the magic number to have a good turn out of racing in the five P classes.

Lots of lead changes and difficult navigation made for some very interesting racing. Best of all, no mishaps of any kind.

Thanks to Randy and Team Typhoon for supporting this OPA event, as well as everyone else that made the effort to come to New Jersey.
