Experience will WIN. Key West waters are different then any other race site. Joe & Peter know Key West and the different waters that are encountered at every turn. With all the respect to Wazzup, just be careful in Key West as the unexpected happens FAST. As for Spiderman, I do know know the experience level of this team.
Bottom line is the money should be on Instigator.

The fastest boat does not always win in Key west.
Look at Rodriguez last year. Definetely not the fastest.
Keep her runnin all three races and you got a shot.

I agree...flat water is not a read test of a good offshore race team....You can throw away the fastest boat when it comes to big water....In big water it really comes down the the people in the boat and teamwork.....

But there are other SV teams out there that are good in the rough water.....Muscle, Rod. Grp., Miss. Indian G., Tabbo, Watzup 2, and lets not forget Little R and Lute D. even with the wieght added to Spiderman....The Peir 57 Fountain is getting faster and did a good job last week in O.B.

Instigator vs Spiderman???? HHHHMMMMM!!!! While I am partial to Peter and Joe knowing them both for along time, unfortunately will have to go with Spiderman if they are less the 750lb penalty. If the penalty still exists when they meet then it is anyones ball game. Would really like to see a battle between them in some really nasty water. Should be a great dual.

On the other side you have SMITTY and STICKS in WAZZUP 2 who for a short time were running with SPIDERMAN in ST Clair, Michigan in there first race in there new boat. Throw the WAZZUP BOYZ in the mix then hands down have to go with the BOYZ.

Does that mean that the Fountains come with the extra 750 pounds STANDARD at no additional cost? :confused:

What are these boats weighing in at?

Has Skater come in at the minimum class weight and the association has them adding an additional 750 pounds on top of that? :eek:

Seems to me that Fountain is lucky that Skater wasn't interested in going for the Worlds Fastest Vee Bottom Record. ;)

750lbs were added to SPIDEY to slow her down. Thats 750lbs extra on top of the class weight. Hope that helps you.

Spiderman is fast..... in flat waters. OSS , that I recall, havent had any type of rough race.....
Bring spiderman in 4-5 occ.6's ( Real Offshore racing) My bet he'll have a hard time making top three!
Have all the SV come to KW. He'll be quick at the first straight away....make turn 1.....then the real race begins!!!
Instigator is very fast....Joe and peter...and lets not forget jerry H and crew are great guys.....but in the rough, I know 2-3 boats that will give him a good run for his money!!
Thats just my opinion....no hard feelings....i hope

Three essential items for KW.....

-1) Duck tape....to hold you nuts firm on the seat...

-2) Bungee cord.....Hold them sticks pegged to the dash!!!!

-3) Nose plug..... Just incase....Sh@t happens

will spiderman be in the keys oss is in st pete the same week wondering witch way to go hard to leave the keys after ten years in row but want to go where the most boats will be. the best party will be in the keys i'm sure.but, tough decision.any ideas

and Sammy D makes sure it runs.
