As you can see by my photo that block of cement blocks the view of all boats approaching the MOLE..
I do agree that it is thrilling to see/hear them when 20 feet directly in front of you...then they are gone.
Since you can't see them coming and follow them past yu, from a spectators view point it truly sucks.
Hell, even after paying the $$$$ for VIP seatin/viewing I spent most time about 100 yards to the left (facing the water)
on the bed of a pickup truck (thanks to a couple of strangers) ..yet when I scanned camera to the right the F$$$$ng cement thing blocked my view.
I think ALL those that paid $$$ for VIP viewing got the royal screwing last year and will agin this year if situated in the same area.
Just my humble, yet unbiased opinion..
