JR,

Current SBI/APBA Technical Rules for P classes:

11.13. Boat shall be a minimum length 24’, maximum length 45’

I expect ScottB may be able to address boats smaller than 24 foot as the P class rep, not to mention, he races one of the smallest boats out there at 24 foot. Not sure you'd want to get much smaller than 24 foot due to safety concerns.

The minimum length use to be 21' in P5. "Mailman" a 22' Donzi classic, and "Carrot Top", a 21 Scarab both raced for several years.

My 24 Pantera is officially retired After 6 years of racing.
In my opinion, the greatest 24 ft boat on the planet

At frist we had to race in the p-4 class because of the motor that was in it. The guys didn't want us in p-5 so they , wild rose, told on me. He said he new the boat would run the 90's. They were scared of us , so they told the athorities. Later that year I put a smaller engine in it.

Scream,
Welcome to OSO. Any plans on racing again? OPA has no entry fees, there are several small boats in P5. Bring it back out!
