5k sounds VERY cheap for canopy material.

i have never heard of anyone correcting scratches in a canopy with any success.

i wish my only problem with canopies were some scratches!LOL

as you can see i got the $hit end of that deal...1" shorter and a few less functioning brain cells!

Maybe not prop scratches ...

Plus I dont know how bad the canopy is, I do know a Air Force wrench looked at mine and said "most of this should come out, the more you work the better it will be"... for what ever thats worth.

Fountain uses Safe Lite glass, they are "standard" models and start at $5k. I have priced them. The ones in that 35 are probably more since they are larger than ours. Also you should look on their website or call them prior to trying to buff them with any chemical. They specifically list certain cleaners to use. Those lites are 3 layers bonded together and are very sensitive to harsh cleaners.

are they the same? I was looking at some svl's and they are much thinner. It's a question. Canopies have evolved at the expense of racers live's. While many look like they are many pieces. They are in fact one with bracing. Ours is now floated and has no holes. It also has less exposed surface area.

That was my concern with the water stains, Info that I got is that it was raced in Porta Rica, it has high compression dry sump engines and requires race gas, the name is bleached into the sides where the decals were removed.
The engines have been started but little information on its history, I searched the internet but found nothing
