It is a real shame. You could not even talk hydroplanes without naming Miss Budwiser. I vote for Labatt's as a replacement.

Well, sad to see but not unexpected with Inbev's past history. I think we discussed it when the news came out about the acquisition that this was likely to happen.

Yep,
When IN-Bev bought AB, I switched to Miller lite awhile back, but now I'm hearing that they are foreign owned also? not that I drink that much anymore anyway....Is there any American owned BEER CO's anymore?

Pabst is the largest US. owned brewery, but Miller makes most of the beer for them.

there's still a slim sliver of hope, the shareholders are supposed to vote on the takeover today...I guess we'll see...

Yingling claims to be the oldest brewery in the US. I like their beer, even if the name sounds furun. If they would just sponsor a boat, I'd make them the new official bear of Tuckered Tiger Racing.
