Well if this is your choice; that run it! Just steer clear of Ocean City and Point.

Chris,
The boat would be legal for Class 6;but the other boats that you have inquired about would be better.A couple of years ago a 21ft Intimidator with a single outboard ran competively in Class 5 in the flat water races.I also remember a couple 22ft Velocities and 23ft Maelstroms with single inboards running in the old A-Class.They also did well in the calm water races.Obviously,a longer boat would be better for the ocean races. There is no substitute for length. At least Class 6 is maxed out at 26ft.The whole idea behind this class was to provide a place for the smaller boats to race competitively.Based on the continued growth of the class it seems to be working pretty well.See you in O.C.

Chris,
My 24' Sunsation is really a 23'. I'm sure you could be competative in the calmer races-Patchogue LI, Cambrigde Md, Tenn, St Claire, Port Clinton Oh.
PS Don't listen to Two Trick, bring the boat to OC and Point!!

Not to mix you up further, On Syracuse Craigs list, there is a 24' Switzer w/454, Bravo I, trailer asking 8,900.
