Sounds like as soon as you get your invoice...to pay it and you guys part ways...
I would be there at his door to get your boat and pay him and pack all your stuff up...you can't let your emmotions get into this situation ( I know..easier said then done)....wether on your part or his....
You have a family and your health....put this matieral thing to bed and be happy with your family...if racing is were you need to be to also be happy, you will find yourself back in..but in a better situation...
I'm sure your boat will sell with no problem....and you can put this behind you....

Good luck

Jeff, sell the Mystic and get yourself into a Cat Lite and have some fun racing against other boats at price that you can easily afford. Put the fun back into racing for your entire crew.

What did the police say ? Without an invoice it is theft...Go to the shop with the police and pick up your sh*t, If you feel you need to, then pay him a small storage fee and get on down the road, Put piston engines in and go racing. My $.02...thats all.

As I neither represent JBS Racing or Turbine Marine I do agree that this is a surprising yet damaging post. In my opinion Jeff & Aruda (and only as friendly advise) please find another way to air out this dirty laundry as this is counter productive to the sport of Off Shore Racing. Jeff I would hate to think that a sponsor (you never know who reads these posts) forms an opinion of you from these posts and choose not to support JBS Racing's future growth. There are legal ways to pursue this and it could be solved peacefully and professionally. Not to say that this isnt going to take an emotional and personal toll as I know you both have made some great strides and investments into this sport. Keep in mind when it was good it was great and how quickly things change but please and again this isnt a personal attack launched at either party involved, but please dont tear down what so many others have invested in BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS to build, lest we forget the courageous souls who made the ultimate sacrifice dying to progressively promote this sport. Turbine Extreme is a small enough class seemingly disappearing into the wakes of the ocean. It is my hopes that this can have a peaceful resolve for all parties involved including those in the fore front as well as behind the scenes. Hope to see you all back racing soon!
Remember the goal is to Safely & Progressively Promote the sport of Off Shore Racing.

Not a bad idea, atleast it keeps you racing, I mean if your heart is in racing, surely you havent shakin the speed bug over night and in one bad episode.

Why did you take it back to turbine marine from the SIB race if you were having issues there? I wouldn't let anyone lock my stuff up, I would be there with cops in hand asking for the release of equipment since there is no paper proof(as we know) that can be put into the officers hands to show rights to hold equip.

John, please just get Jeff an detailed invoice now so you can get paid and he can get out of your hair He can keep his sponsorship and upcoming commitments as many people in the next few weeks and months are counting on him to help promote the sport you both are heavily invested in. Plans for these events have been in the works for months and many people and organizations are counting on him to attend and have made substantial financial commitments for him to do so.
Thanks.

Im going to apologize to everyone and Turbine Marine for things I said.
With that said I have sucked it up and done more than asked to do.Now it's Arrudas turn.
Heres the deal-if the boat doesn't get to Mystic tomorrow it will sit at Turbine Marine indefinitely and JBS racing is completely done.
All John has to do is what we agreed on in the first place-he will get paid with money I raise through sponsorship and merchandise sales.I can easily pay John $10K for all of the events we plan to attend.theses are those events-Oshkosh poker run,st Clair,Michigan city,LOTO shootout, lake Cumberland poker run,and key west.

Good Luck Guys!

I really hope this issue can be resolved to both parties satisfaction.
