Deep V If you think were crying .i got news for you . The seasons over. the rules were changed in the first race in Ft. Myers for the P classes.Nobody cried about it we raced anyway. SBI lost 2 P5 and 1 P4 boat for the season that i know of, all of a sudden if you had a top speed of 70 mph in P5 you neede 75 to 80 to be in the running and this went right down to P1. No, were not crying but it will be a cold day in hell when we cant ***** about it. Team Vixen P4 16

Deep V I never said i was not for Smitty,i dont think thiers anyone better to work this out before next season. Man my hats off to him,and if i sounded like i wasnt im sorry.I only met Smitty and his son this year and our whole team found them the greatest,like all the teams in the P classes,we all had lot of fun. Did the P. run and was fun,but never replace going out in a raceboat.I was thinkiing while we were out thier.here we are in an old 30 ft.Formula with 2 502 525 engines running between 70 and 78 mph in comfort,and i would be legal in P5. Now wouldnt that be some fun? I could just as easy stay home and order the trophies over the phone for the mantle.be a lot cheaper.Hope Smitty worked somthing out. Sorry I havent gotten back to you, Still recovering from KW. By the way, I dont have a bad list. I understand and support all you're arguments. Went to KW only because I have never been to an APBA event, so I could not comment on the difference between the two Sanc. bodies. I have to tell you they are mirror images of each other. The numbers in the P class are very close. And the racers in the APBA have the very same complaints. For instance there was a 38 cig running P5, and another boat that never ran an APBA event racing P5. I was told when I called Mike Tomlinson that I could not race because I had not competed in an event this year, I am not bashing anyone just stating that neither body is perfect. As far as the speed issue for the P classes how would you all feel about sealed GPS on each boat, and in stead of average lap speed do a total speed per class. I am also pricing out on board sensors for counting laps and lap speed.

Also we are putting together a meeting in the NE of all the NE racers, and any others with an interest in racing. Just to get everyone on the same page. The SE guys are more than welcome. Or if you want to put something together down south myself as well as a number of our guys would definitely come down and join you. We are planning on running as many of the SE races as we can. You should come north for a few of ours, we will roll out the carpet. I have a complete marina facility for your use any time. Ed and Anthony
