Trent,
In a perfect world , we would all be millionaire's, have whatever we want, and not work for it. But that obviously is not the case.

We could get in a long debate about what is wrong or right for that matter, about offshore racing. it has been going on long enough already, whenever the prop spins , rumors fly , opinions fly, (mine included).

With the episode of last week, changing sites, i am sure some people will sit out the worlds, that is their choice, some may never go to another offshore race , that is their choice as well, some will stick to their guns and race whatever saction they care to race, once again their choice.

I understand your point, and respect your opinion, but saying in a not direct way that one body doesnt blow more smoke that the other, who is kidding who.

lets hope for a better 2004.

TRENT

You stated that they are racing for nothing.
Does that mean everyone who raced S.B.I. all
year raced for nothing. Correct me if iam wrong
but all of S.B.I. races are not U.I.M.

Right on. More knowledge will certainly help stop the spread of harmful false assumptions

We as racers need to step up and be leaders and quit being led around on a leash. We invest to much time and more importantly money into something that we love. Not everyone has the opportunities that we are fortunate to have, and it is time to stop racing around a toilet bowl that has just been flushed.
Guys please stop the arguing, name calling, bickering, etc because to get corny for a moment"United we stand, divided we fall"
Yep.Fastest way off the leash is to get involved.Just about everybody who dug deeper into the APBA WORLDS deal or Detroit took the LLC side after getting the clearer picture of what really is happening there.Fact is Most of the racers arent race organizers,so they dont know what putting on the biggest and best offshore series takes. The only way to understand it all is to be there right in the middle. So to those who want to learn more I say GO for it. Get involved & see whos really on your side.
Now, Anybody here who says the APBA intended to screw the racers when they made the switch to the OB AL deal, simply doesnt have a clue what transpired but thats typical of how these rumors get taken WAY off track.
You gotta know they wanted nothing but the best race ever in KW for the racers.A great race that makes us happy is a huge win for them. But they got backed into a corner and then worked their ass off to get us a replacement venue in AL in record time. Those 'in the know' do deeply apprieciate it.
QUoting F1-00:
United we stand, divided we fall
You got it.
