Stock Car Quote from 34 Yrs ago, IE: Offshore Racing?
I found this quote in an old "Stock Car" magazine, it could easily be speaking of Offshore.
"The biggest problem facing organized stock car racing today, is as opposed to other sports, is a lack of guidelines, a lack of understanding,a lack of direction in deciding the issues most beneficial to the sport itself" From a February 1970 Stock Car racing column by Jim Hunter, then director of public relations at Atlanta International Speedway, now Vice President of Corporate Communications for NASCAR.
Look what NASCAR used to be like, any similarities to Offshore Racing now? Just food for thought.
