Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association (OSS) Welcomes First Major Sponsor
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Saturday, March 20, 2004
The Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association (OSS) today welcomed Ettore Squeegees as the organization’s first major sponsor. Ettore Squeegees is a national squeegee manufacturer with 8,000 distributors nationwide.
As a $60,000 sponsor, Ettore will contribute to the cost of the national television show and will receive other race site benefits.
“We’re not only racers, but fans of the sport, so we want to sponsor the newly formed OSS,” said Jim Richardson Jr., Owner/Driver, Ettore Squeegees #75. “OSS is the future of boat racing, and we feel we’ve obtained the best marketing value for Ettore.”
Ettore Squeegees’ developed its first “New Deal” squeegee product in 1937 after Ettore Steccone patented the rubber blade design. The Ettore products are now 100% unconditionally guaranteed to deliver nothing less than flawless performance. With an exacting quality control and hand inspection of literally every inch of rubber produced so defects simply don’t leave the factory, Ettore assures its position as the undisputed industry leader.
“Ettore’s sponsorship will help build the foundation of the Association,” said Elaine Motl, Chief Executive Officer of OSS. “We look forward to treating Ettore as VIP’s and fulfilling the OSS sponsor obligations with professionalism.”
OSS is a not for profit organization dedicated to the further development and growth of offshore powerboat racing in North America. For more information, check out: www.offshoresuperseries.com.
