Re: Key West SS outboards
I have no idea, it was pretty beat the last time I saw it. If some body wants to go racing the Pout It On boat is for sale at a good price and it's awesomely rigged by DIAMOND marine.

Re: Key West SS outboards
Ryan,
Are the POUR IT ON guys getting a new boat??? Hope they are not leaving this great class. |
Re: Key West SS outboards
I looked at the havoline spectre at whylie's house a couple of years ago with Andrew Ingle, took 2 rolls of pics of it. It had some bulk head damage in front and on the top of the deck but nothing Andrew and John could not repair. I think Todd Werner got the 280's so it left boat and trailer, Budget racing is in the cards for our team next season but at least we will try... If any one hears about havoline please post it on this thread.....Thanks, Micheal...

Re: Key West SS outboards
where are motors going to come from next year. I hear that the last 2.5 efi has come off the line and there won't be any more produced.

Re: Key West SS outboards
The Pour it On boat is up in Marlyand and he is racing it this year, It is owned by Jim Anselmo. I would make you a great deal on my 2004 AMT is you need a nice boat to go racing.

Re: Key West SS outboards
There has been talk about Verados but they are too heavy and I believe there are some reliability issures . I don't know the long term solution but I am sure there will be some testing done over the next couple years as outboards are not going away and neither is outboard racing. I also here from a very reliable source that there is talk with Yamaha.

Re: Key West SS outboards
300 to 350lbs per side. Verados won't work unless we slow the class way down.
