The inboard AMT will be all epoxy. This is the first time LA Marine is building the 30' AMT in epoxy. The news keeps getting better. SQ

Great shots of the hull. It looks like a flat tunnel and the sponsons are V shaped and stepped and not flat like skater sponsons.

Steve,

Is Racing Frenzy the first AMT with the flat tunnel??? Could not help but notice this when I was checking out Grant's Custom Rigging website, www.grantscustomrigging.com. I noticed the flat tunnel do to Grant's installation of a tunnel tab on that particular AMT.

The tunnel has a slight v to where the tab starts. On the new boat I think they took ALL the v out.

Nothing exciting to report. Lot's of engineering and planning at the moment. I'm taking the wife somewhere warm for a couple of weeks. I'll report when I return.

Ryan is correct about the Racing Frenzy boat. What you are seeing in the photo is a custom wedge which Lee Austin built to flatten out the V. The new generation of AMT's will have no V at all and several other changes.

As trick as the in-tunnel flap is, Bryan says he rarely uses it. The boat responds very well to trim. SQ
