The First Amt Inboard

The first AMT inboard is out of the mold. It will be equipped with small blocks and Imco out drives. With each boat, Lee Austin (the builder) continues to improve the quality and performance of these outstanding hulls. This inboard model should be a very sweet ride. SQ

I think at one time they were maybe Lee Austin is building them for the owner. Ryan Beckley could shed light on the real answer and can sorrect me if I am wrong.

Re: The First Amt Inboard

The boats were built by Yellowfin for awhile the mor recent boats are laid up by LA Marine in Ft Lauderdale. The IO boat will be LT-6(?) engines with imco drives it will be 30'. This is Andy's project for himself/sale.

Re: The First Amt Inboard

That's LA Marine owned and operated by Mr. Lee Austin. Lee is the designer and builder of the Deep V Cats Super Stock boat and the builder RE-designer of the 30' AMT. Lee Austin true throwback, old school (non-AMEX) boat racer, designer , builder, rigger, class representative , go to guy when someone needs help in the pits.

Lee continues to refine and improve the AMT. SQ

Re: The First Amt Inboard

It still looks like any other AMT, astheticly, it won't look any different till it's rigged and running. I would think it will be in the glass shop for another month or so at least.
