Re: New to the Forum...
Now that Christmas is over...might as well be summer. I swear I think this website and working on the boat are the only things that keep me going through the winter. Sorry i haven't got the pics posted yet, too much family stuff the past few days. I think I may have found a garage big enough to put the boat in to really start hammering down with paint and other things. Going to fabricate a custom windshield, mold some fiberglass sub boxes into the side compartments, and spray the boat completely white for now...pics coming tonight.

Well I promised pics, so here goes, I have quite a few. I buffed the boat out about as good as the gelcoat would allow for now. I'm going to paint because I'm tired of waxing every 2 weeks! Most of the interior are before pics, haven't taken any afters yet. The boat is spotless now...

Re: New to the Forum...
Last few pics. The boat name became very appropriate because 2 months after I bought the boat, it sunk in about 4 feet of water. My drives were pushed into the mud, but held the boat up high enough that the motors didn't get water in them.
I've since replaced alternators and have two starters sitting in the garage waiting. It took about 3 hours to get the boat floating again and turns out it was a dry-rotted shift cable boot that caused it. APPARENTLY my float was faulty, hahaha. I tore the outdrives down and replaced all of the boots, gimbles, bellows, etc, and had it going by Labor Day.

Welcome to the board. That's a good looking Stinger. When you paint it, make sure to re-do the Stinger logo. I love the way that looks on the hull!
