If anyone on this thread cares....

I was talking to my dealer today. He has a brand new 2006 Yamaha WR250 still on the showroom floor he wants to dump. I don't have a clue what a good deal on this bike is. He said $3,999 would take it.

Yamaha went and confused everyone with 3 different wr models.

Do you know which one it is?

I don't know, 7 year olds have the ability to bend without breaking! Us old farts snap like twigs. I guess I better drink my milk! How does milk go with Grey Goose? Is there a calcium fortified vodka?

Regardless, that's a good deal. I'm betting it's the basic offroad version that's been around a while. Great offroad bike. My buddy races one and he's the 16-time Missouri Hare Scrambles champ.

Some more classifieds links:

if you're looking to strictly trail ride, I'm seeing some kicka$$ prices on KDX220's. They're not as high-performance as some of the other models, but I have friends who have enjoyed racing them in the C-class. One friend owns two and he's had zero issues with them. Very reliable bikes.

Stay off the MX tracks and you'll be a lot better off.

Definitely a great price, but out of the range I'm looking in.
