Macadoodles is gone. All employees and customers were safe from injury as they took shelter in the basement wine cellar. Wal-mart, Academy, and Home Depot were not so lucky. Haven't heard a number of casualties in those stores yet. It doesn't look good either. I heard the latest official death toll is now at 125.
Our family escaped just south of the tornados path so we were just out of power for a couple of days. Nothing like what some other people are dealing with right now. Looking forward to a relaxing few days at the lake to kind of get away from all the destruction.

At least it has crested and is headed down if they keep the gates open. I talked to my uncle and he said his shoreline has the most trees and trash it has ever had from high water and he has had that property since 1973. Lets hope all the crap in the lake blows to the shoreline by the weekend and stays on the shoreline.

Does anyone know if the boat ramp between the spillways are open at Disney State Park? Trying to determine what boat ramp to use this weekend.
Looks like lake level is 750.54 as of 1 pm today. Just can't tell which gates are open.

I would plan on using a different ramp. They usually open the gates on the East spillway first and then gates on the West spillway. If that is not enough, they will then open gates on the dam. Anytime they have any spillway gates open that ramp is closed. With the current lake level I would be very surprised if all the spillway gates will be closed by the end of the weekend.
